![]() To bolster opportunities for collaboration among faculty and students, the project includes converting Carr Hall’s auditorium into 7,000 square feet of learning space. “We are pleased to support Allegheny’s efforts to renovate Carr Hall, offering the environmental science department the opportunity to shape its curriculum, research and community outreach efforts in ways that have not been possible in its current space,” said Sylvia Fields, Eden Hall’s executive director. The renovations also will significantly enhance instructional areas for physics. When the 19,000-square-foot project is complete, Carr Hall will house classroom, laboratory and office space for Allegheny’s environmental science department, which currently shares facilities with other departments. – Decem– The Eden Hall Foundation has awarded Allegheny College a grant to help support renovations to create an environmental science education center in the college’s Carr Hall. ![]()
